by 서울의 다채로운 매력을 도심과 자연 속에서 즐길 수 있는 특별한 봄축제가 열린다. A major spring festival in Seoul next month will highlight the capital's colorful charm and beautiful nature.
서울시는 5월 1일부터 6일까지 서울광장, 광화문광장 등 서울 도심 곳곳에서 ‘서울페스타 2024(SEOUL FESTA 2024)’를 개최한다고 23일 밝혔다. The Seoul Metropolitan Government on April 23 said it will host Seoul Festa 2024 from May 1-6 across the city at places like Seoul Plaza and Gwanghwamun Square.
이에 따라 서울시는 올해 축제 주제를 ‘인조이 올 댓 서울(Enjoy All That Seoul)’ 로 정하고 서울의 매력을 시민과 전세계인이 옹골차게 즐길 수 있도록 모든 준비를 마쳤다. Under the theme "Enjoy All That Seoul," this year's edition will allow the public and people from around the world to enjoy what the capital has to offer.
먼저 1일 서울광장에서 개막파티를 열어 이번 축제의 시작을 알린다. 2일과 3일에는 서울의 문화와 공연을 즐기는 ‘블라썸 파티’, 뷰티와 댄스 실력을 뽐낼 수 있는 ‘K-스타 챌린지’가 차례로 시민곁을 찾아간다.
The first event on May 1 is Opening Party at Seoul Plaza, followed by Blossom Party from May 2-3 featuring the city's culture and performances and K-Star Challenge, where people can strut their skills in beauty and dance.
광화문광장은 누구나 참여하고 체험할 수 있는 ‘놀이터 공간(플레이그라운드존)’으로 바뀐다. 서울의 문화, 패션, 뷰티, 음식 등을 체험할 수 있는 6개 구역으로 이뤄진 ‘서울스타일로드’가 축제 기간동안 상시 운영된다.
Gwanghwamun Square will turn into a playground zone where anyone can take part in and experience. The six-section Seoul Style Road will allow visitors to try the city's culture, fashion, beauty and food.
특히 4일 개최 예정인 ‘서울 로드쇼’에선 축제장을 방문한 시민이 세종대로에서 함께 그림을 그리고 공연에도 참여할 수 있다. 당일 오후 4시 30분부터는 김태우, 프로미스나인 및 SF9 등 K-팝 가수들이 출연하는 콘서트가 열린다.
The Seoul Road Show on May 4 will allow visitors to draw on Sejong-daero Road and participate in street performances. At 4:30 p.m. that day, a concert will feature performances by K-pop acts such as Kim Tae-woo, Fromis 9 and SF9.
상암동 노을공원에 4~5일 마련되는 ‘피크닉존’에서는 한국식 바비큐와 각종 한식을 맛보고 지역 특산물을 만나볼 수 있는 ‘고기 굽굽 피크닉 인(in) 서울’이 진행된다.
On May 4-5 at the Picnic Zone of Noeul Park in the city's Sangam-dong neighborhood, visitors to the event "Meat Grill Picnic in Seoul" can taste barbecue and other domestic foods along with regional specialties.
이밖에 ‘한강드론라이트쇼(4.27, 5.6)’, ‘서울서커스페스티벌(5.4~5.5)’, ‘궁중문화축전(4.27~5.5)’, ‘명동페스티벌(4.26~5.6)’ 등 다양한 연계 행사도 펼쳐질 예정이다.
Sideline events during the festival include the Hangang Drone Light Show (April 27, May 6), Seoul Circus Festival (May 4-5), K-Royal Culture Festival (April 27-May 5) and Myeongdong Festival (April 26-May 6).

김영환 서울시 관광체육국장은 “서울페스타는 서울을 대표 봄맞이 축제로 서울의 문화와 매력을 한자리에서 경험해 볼 수 있는 절호의 기회” 라며 “올해 더 풍성해지고 다양해진 서울페스타를 찾아 빛나는 서울의 매력을 한껏 체험해 보길 바란다”고 말했다.
