세계 최고 병원에 한국 병원 17곳 뽑혀 - 17 domestic hospitals make Newsweek's global top 250 list

미국 시사주간지 뉴스위크가 뽑은 세계 최고 병원 순위에 한국 병원 17여 곳이 이름을 올렸다. Newsweek magazine of the U.S. has named 17 hospitals in Korea as among the world's best.

5일 뉴스위크가 누리집에 발표한 '2024 세계 최고 병원(World's Best Hospitals 2024)' 순위 250위 안에 17곳의 한국 병원이 포함됐다. The weekly's website on March 5 released its list of the world's top 250 hospitals.

서울아산병원이 22위로 가장 높았다. 삼성서울병원(34위), 세브란스(40위), 서울대병원(43위), 분당서울대병원(81위), 강남세브란스병원(94위)이 100위 안에 들었다.
Asan Medical Center was the highest-ranked Korean institution on the list at 22nd. Another five made the top 100: Samsung Medical Center (34th), Severance Hospital (40th), Seoul National University (SNU) Hospital (43rd), SNU Bundang Hospital (81st) and Gangnam Severance Hospital (94th).

이어 가톨릭성모병원(104위), 아주대병원(120위), 인하대병원(148위), 강북삼성병원(152위), 고대안암병원(160위), 여의도성모병원(170위), 경희대병원(208위), 중앙대병원(214위), 건국대병원(222위), 이대병원(225위), 대구가톨릭대병원(235위)이 선정됐다.

Others on the list were Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital at the Catholic University of Korea (CUK) at 104th; Ajou University Hospital 120th; Inha University Hospital 148th; Kangbuk Samsung Hospital 152th; Korea University Anam Hospital 160th; Yeouido St. Mary’s Hospital of the CUK 170th; KyungHee University Medical Center 208th; Chung-Ang University Hospital 214th; Konkuk University Medical Center 222th; Ewha Womans University Medical Center 225th; and Daegu Catholic University Medical Center (235th).

뉴스위크는 글로벌 조사 기관인 스타티스타(Statista)와 함께 30개국 8만5000명의 의료 전문가에게 받은 추천과 환자 만족도 등을 종합해 ‘2024 세계 최고 병원’ 순위를 매겼다.
Newsweek and the global survey company Statista collected recommendations from 85,000 medical professionals in 30 countries and patient satisfaction data to determine the list.

평가는 의사·보건 전문가·병원 관리자 대상 온라인 설문조사 결과(45%), 의료성과지표(35.25%), 환자 만족도 조사(16.25%), 환자 건강상태 자가평가(PROMs) 시행 여부(3.5%) 등 4개 항목으로 구성됐다.

The rankings' four factors were online survey results from doctors, medical professionals and hospital staff (45%), hospital quality metrics (35.25%), patient experience (16.25%) and patient reported outcome measures (3.5%).

전 세계 30개국 2400개 병원 중 우수 병원 250곳을 뽑는 이번 조사에서 세계 1위는 미국 메이요클리닉이 차지했다. The world's top 250 hospitals were selected among 2,400 in 30 countries, with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, being No. 1.
