어려운 질문이 나오면 잘 몰라도 알고 있는 척해. 자신감 있는 태도를 보여 줘.
If a difficult question comes up, just pretend you know it even though you don’t know it very well. Show them a confident attitude.

It is used to indicate a pretended attitude or appearance which is not real.
'-는 척하다' is used in an action verb stem. '-은/ㄴ 척하다' is used in a descriptive verb stem. ',-은/ㄴ 척하다' is used to express completion. '인 척하다' is used after a noun.
엄마가 제 방에 들어오셔서 저는 공부하는 척했어요.
I pretended I was studying when my mother entered my room.
저는 어제 학교에 가기 싫어서 아픈 척했어요.
Yesterday, I pretended to be sick because I didn't like to go to school.
저는 친구의 말을 못 들은 척했어요.
