Examples:
A 오늘이 며칠이에요? What’s today's date?
B 5월 5일(오월 오일)이에요. It’s May 5.
A 오늘이 무슨 요일이에요? What day of the week is today?
B 화요일이에요. It’s Tuesday.
A 언제 결혼했어요? When did you get married?
B 2001년(이친일 년)에 결혼했어요. We got married in 2001.
1. The Korean words for June and October are read and written as 유월 and 시월 respectively, not 육월 and 십월.
2. When asking 'What year’, 몇 년 is used, and when asking ‘what month’,몇 월 is used. However, when asking 'what day’, 며칠 is used in place of 몇일.
