세종대왕이 한글을 만들었어요
Sejong the Great invented the Korean alphabet (Hangeul)
In Korea, the ninth of October is Hangeul day (the Korean alphabet day). The original name of the Korean alphabet is Hunminjeongeum. In the old days, while it was still the Korean language, people used Chinese characters when they wrote. Therefore, in the year 1443, King Sejong invented the Korean alphabet, which anyone can learn and write easily. Hangul day is the day that commemorates the King Sejong's invention of the Korean alphabet. In Korea, they designate Hangul day as a national holiday, and as people organize many kinds of events, they strengthen the spirit of loving the Korean alphabet.
