어떻게 인사할까요?
How should we greet each other?
In Korea, people slightly bow to one another and say, “안녕하세요?”, which means “Hi, Hello, or Good morning/afternoon/evening”.
When friends greet each other, they say “안녕?”, which means “Hello”.
Whether it is in the morning, afternoon, or evening, people greet each
other with “안녕하세요?”, but it doesn’t recognize time of day. When it
is time to leave, people either say “안녕히 가세요” or “안녕히 계세요”,
which means “goodbye” or literally “go well” or “stay well”. To friends,
people can say “안녕” but also say “잘 가” or “잘 있어” as well.Related Posts
